The Story Behind The Clubfoot Anthem ‘Resonant Roar of Hanuman’

Parv Thacker was born on 7 May 2017, the day observed as Global Clubfoot Day, with bilateral clubfoot. On the very same day, Give Vacha Foundation began the Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv (GCAP) initiative, marking the beginning of a long-term mission to promote clubfoot awareness, early treatment and community engagement.

Music formed an integral part of Parv’s early treatment, with his parents incorporating music therapy as part of his clubfoot journey. This experience later contributed to Give Vacha Foundation’s broader Awareness Through Arts mission, leading to the Foundation’s flagship initiatives, Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv (GCAP) and Music Therapy for All. Today, “Resonant Roar of Hanuman,” widely known as The Clubfoot Anthem, serves as the shared musical identity of these initiatives and the flagship musical theme across the Hindi, English and Gujarati film adaptations inspired by Parv’s life.

As Parv grew from a child with bilateral clubfoot into a Guinness World Record holder and the world’s youngest singer, he was appointed the Global Ambassador of Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv (GCAP), further strengthening the initiative’s international awareness mission.

The Clubfoot Anthem Continues Its International Journey

Created by Dr. Krupesh Thacker, Vacha Thacker, Parv Thacker, Parv Fusion Band and The Krup, “Resonant Roar of Hanuman” is a sacred Sanskrit Hanuman Mantra composition featured on the devotional album Sounds of Sanatan: Vol. 1.

The composition was featured in the GRAMMY® Awards For Your Consideration campaign in the Best Global Music Performance category, while Sounds of Sanatan: Vol. 1 received For Your Consideration in the Best Global Music Album, Best Album Cover and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical categories, before “Resonant Roar of Hanuman” earned an official nomination at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards (HIMA) 2026.

A Journey Beyond Music

For Parv, music has always represented something greater than performance.

Beyond music, Parv’s journey continues through films, literature and awareness initiatives developed under The Krup Universe. The Clubfoot Anthem and the upcoming film adaptations inspired by his story continue that mission, encouraging children and families to believe that challenges can become opportunities through perseverance, treatment and hope.

Reflecting on the Recognition

Dr. Krupesh Thacker said:

“Every stage of Parv’s journey has reminded us that limitations do not define a child’s future. ‘Resonant Roar of Hanuman’ has become an important part of our broader mission through Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv. Seeing this composition reach the Hollywood Independent Music Awards is encouraging not only for our family but also for every child and family who continues to overcome challenges with hope.”

Dr. Pooja Thacker added:

“Parv’s story has always been about much more than achievements. It represents the importance of early intervention, family support and believing in every child’s potential. We hope this international recognition encourages greater awareness about clubfoot and inspires families around the world.”
